Biblical Worldview

Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people." For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?

Deuteronomy 4:6-8

Topic: Family as a Tool for Dominion

The first and central God-ordained human institution was the family. He placed in the family all basic relationships that support the human society: mutual trust, division of functions and labor, economic incentive for work and long-term savings, government with righteousness and justice which represents the moral character of God, education of the children, inheritance and inter-generational transfer of capital, etc. The family should be the basic institution in organizing the local church, and family must be the foundation for building a society, economic structures, and everything else. It is not surprising that the enemies of Christianity in our days have focused many of their attacks on the Biblical family.

Family is God’s tool for righteous Christian dominion over the earth. The emergence of a Christian civilization in Europe in the last 1,900 years was based on the building of a tradition of healthy Christian families in the early years of Christianity; it is that tradition that perseveres through all persecutions and converts Europe to Christ. The failure of modern Christians to evangelize the world is caused by their refusal to return to the sound foundation of the Biblical family.

The Second Biblical Worldview Conference in Bulgaria will answer the following questions: What is the Biblical family? What is its part in the plan of God for salvation and dominion, and for building churches and societies? How is the family the right foundation for entrepreneurship and economic activity? What is the proper part of the family in the inter-generational transfer of capital through education of the children, thrift, and long-term orientation? Join Joel McDurmon, Andrea Schwarz, Christopher Bateman, Bojidar Marinov, and Daniela Kremova as they present the Biblical perspective on the place of the family in the plan of God.
